Travis Kelce has revealed that he’s interested in stepping on stage as a DJ during one of Taylor Swift’s future concerts. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end, who has been dating the pop star since summer 2023, brought it up during an episode of his New Heights podcast, which he hosts alongside his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles centre Jason Kelce. The couple went public with their relationship in September 2023, when Swift was seen at one of his games and later joined him in the post-match suite.

Although Swift wrapped up her hugely successful ‘Eras World Tour’ in December 2023, Kelce remarked that he’d love to be part of the live experience whenever she returns to the road. Speaking to their guest, basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal, Kelce responded enthusiastically to the idea of opening for Swift. O’Neal, who performs under the DJ name DJ Diesel, had suggested that it would be a huge moment if Kelce were to hype up the crowd before Swift’s set. He said that Kelce would be a star with just ten minutes on stage, energising fans before the main act began.

Kelce agreed, saying he could definitely see himself hyping up the crowd and getting the Swifties excited before Swift came on stage. He’s already had a taste of life on her stage — he made a surprise appearance during the ‘Tortured Poets Department’ segment of her June 2024 show at Wembley Stadium. In the performance, he appeared in costume as one of her backup dancers, lifting Swift off her feet, playfully waking her up, and preparing her to perform ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’.

Their relationship has seen Swift show up at major sporting events too — she attended the last two Super Bowls to support Kelce, with the 2024 game going on to become the most-watched broadcast on US television since the 1969 moon landing.

Swift Reclaims Masters, Teases Possible New Album

Meanwhile, Swift recently shared some major music news of her own. She announced on Instagram that she now holds ownership of the master recordings for her first six studio albums — a significant milestone following years of legal and personal struggles. In her post, she stated that all the music she’s made now belongs to her. Fans have also speculated that the post may contain a hidden clue pointing to a possible new album.
