Travis Kelce Says Taylor Swift and Him Are Both Driven by Their Careers

In a recent interview on 2nd April, Travis Kelce highlighted his excitement for encouraging his girlfriend, Taylor Swift and emphasized their shared commitment to their careers. The 34-year-old tight end talked about how Taylor’s constant encouragement during the football season motivated him to attend her ‘The Eras Tour’ events in return.

Kelce noted that both have a strong work ethic despite being in very different professional arenas, music and football and highlighted their shared drive for success.

He said in an interview, “We both have strong work ethics. It’s been an incredible experience getting to know Tay because we both love what we do, and I want to support her whenever I can. I also know that she’s giving me all the support I need throughout the season.”

Kelce also mentioned how much he admires Taylor’s creative process and musical abilities, saying that it has been eye-opening to experience her love of music and see her sources of inspiration. “It’s been enjoyable to experience her musical taste”, he said. 

“She’s very talented in what she does. It’s really eye-opening for me to discover her creative side and see where she likes to draw inspiration from, as well as how she approaches music listening. Hearing her perspective has been entertaining.”

Looking ahead, Kelce expressed his eagerness to see Taylor perform live, especially when she plays at Wembley Stadium in London. He compared her ability to draw such large crowds to his own experience playing at Wembley Stadium once during his football career and expressed amazement at her ability to fill the stadium for multiple shows.
