Travis Kelce Teases Exciting Christmas Day Plan With Family

While many families gather around the Christmas tree to exchange gifts, the Kelce family has a unique holiday plan. Travis Kelce, the 34-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, and his older brother, 36-year-old Jason Kelce, who plays as a centre for the Philadelphia Eagles, will be on the football field with their respective NFL teams.

Travis and the Chiefs are set to host the Las Vegas Raiders, while Jason and the Eagles will be facing the New York Giants.

Despite having to work on Christmas Day, Travis expresses anticipation for an enjoyable experience. The brothers’ mother, Donna Kelce, is known for attending both of her sons’ games on the same day. However, the scheduling presents a challenge, as the Chiefs kick off at 1 p.m. ET, and the Eagles start their game a few hours later at 4:30 p.m. on Christmas.

Travis shares that he hasn’t disclosed his mom’s plans for the holiday, but he reveals that the Kelce family intends to celebrate Christmas on a later date, following their respective games. Jason has already communicated his intention to celebrate afterwards, and Travis plans to join in the festivities either after the game or the next day. Despite the unconventional timing, the Kelce family is determined to make the most of the holiday season.

Even though Travis Kelce will be spending Christmas day with his brother, he’s confident that the Chiefs kingdom, the loyal fan base, will be there to support him. Travis acknowledges the fans who demonstrated their unwavering support during the recent game against the New England Patriots in Massachusetts, saying, “The kingdom always travels. We always travel well.”

Swift watched the game from a suite at Gillette Stadium, accompanied by her dad, Scott Swift, both proudly sporting Chiefs gear to showcase their team spirit. Brittany Mahomes, the wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, also joined them in the box.

In the third quarter of the Massachusetts matchup, Swift was visibly upset over a no-call involving Patriots player Myles Bryant. The strong fan support and the celebrity presence added an extra layer of excitement to the Chiefs’ win.
