Travis Kelce’s Perfect Response to Whether ‘Karma’ is About The “Guy on The Screen”

While discussing his relationship with Taylor Swift during an episode of Barstool Sports’ Bussin’ with the Boys podcast, Travis Kelce addressed a question about Swift’s viral ‘Karma’ lyric change and its original subject. The conversation centred around an Eras Tour performance where Swift altered a lyric from her ‘Midnights’ track. Instead of singing, ‘Karma’ “is the guy on the screen / Coming straight home to me,” she changed it to ‘Chiefs’ in a clear nod to her NFL star boyfriend.

Kelce explained that Swift’s understanding of situations, such as his and the Chiefs’ Super Bowl win, is one of the reasons he started to fall for her. “She’s very self-aware. And I think that’s why I really started to really fall for her, was how genuine she is around friends [and] family,” he shared.

He praised Swift for maintaining her composure despite the immense attention she receives, saying, “It can get crazy for somebody with that much attention … and she just keeps it so chill and so cool. I can admire it for sure.”

You know what I mean? That’s my lady. So it’s like, I’m proud of that.”
