Travis Scott Arrested in Florida For Disorderly Intoxication And Trespassing

Travis Scott, known by his birth name Jacques Bermon Webster II, found himself in legal trouble in Miami-Dade County, Florida, where he was booked for disorderly intoxication and trespassing on a property following a warning.

The incident leading to his arrest occurred at the Miami Beach Marina, located at 300 Alton Road. Scott’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, clarified that the situation arose due to a misunderstanding and emphasised that there was no physical altercation involved. The bond set for his release amounted to $650, with separate sums for the intoxication and trespassing charges.

This arrest is not the first time Scott has encountered legal issues, particularly related to events surrounding his performances. In 2015, after a Lollapalooza concert in Chicago where he urged fans to breach security barricades and storm the stage, he faced disorderly conduct charges.

Subsequently, in 2017, following a concert in Arkansas, Scott was arrested on charges of inciting a riot, endangering the welfare of a minor, and disorderly conduct. Legal proceedings resulted in him pleading guilty to disorderly conduct, with other charges being dismissed through plea negotiations.

Scott’s current legal situation contrasts with his ongoing tour commitments. He is currently engaged in the European leg of his Utopia-Circus Maximus Tour, launched in support of his latest album, Utopia. Scheduled performances in the Netherlands are on the horizon, continuing his tour’s trajectory that began in October.

Amidst his professional endeavours, Scott’s personal life also garners attention, notably his parental responsibilities as he shares two children with Kylie Jenner, including daughter Stormi and son Aire.
