Whitney Port Claims Jennifer Lopez Stages Paparazzi Shots

Whitney Port, known for her role on ‘The Hills’ and her candid insights, has stirred up some controversy with her latest remarks. On her ‘With Whit’ podcast, Port, alongside her husband Tim Rosenman, claimed that Jennifer Lopez might have staged a recent paparazzi appearance in the Hamptons.

During the episode, Port, 39, shared her suspicions, saying, “Candy Kitchen in Bridgehampton is so special that I’m pretty sure JLo the other day was riding her bike to get a scoop of ice cream for a paparazzi shot.” Rosenman, 42, chimed in, suggesting that Lopez was merely there for an exterior shot and didn’t actually go inside.

Port didn’t stop there. She went on to speculate about Lopez’s motives, hinting that the singer’s actions might be tied to a need for attention. Referring to Lopez as “addicted to attention,” Port described the behaviour as “weird.” She added, “She’s becoming rather popular. The thing that keeps the machine running is how gorgeous she always looks in adorable surroundings.”

Rosenman then questioned the necessity of such staged moments, considering Lopez’s already massive fame. “J.Lo is already as famous as one can be; why does she need to fan her own flame?” he asked, pondering what might drive someone like Lopez to keep up appearances.

Amidst these comments, Lopez celebrated her 55th birthday and the Fourth of July in the Hamptons, notably without her husband, Ben Affleck. This absence, along with recent rumours of marital strife, has only added fuel to the ongoing speculation about the state of their relationship. While some have suggested that Lopez’s celebrity status might be causing tension, a source close to the couple has refuted these claims, telling People that deeper issues are at play.

Despite the whispers, Lopez and Affleck have been seen together at significant family events, such as their daughter Violet’s graduation, where they were spotted holding hands. Lopez also acknowledged Affleck on Father’s Day with a tribute on Instagram, hinting that while they may be facing challenges, their bond remains intact.
