Will Smith Opens Up About Finding Genuine ‘Joy’ After Struggles: “Peace is Happiness”

Will Smith, a multi-talented individual known for his roles in films like ‘Bad Boys’ and ‘Men in Black,’ has experienced both success and challenges throughout his career. Despite his achievements, he has faced personal struggles like everyone else. 

In a recent interview on the ‘Full Send’ podcast, Smith shared his journey to finding joy after reaching what he calls a “cliff top,” where he had accomplished everything imaginable.

Smith described the “cliff top” as a point where there’s no more room for further success, money, or external pleasures, leading to an existential abyss. He emphasized the importance of introspection and building inner happiness independently of external factors.

When asked how to reach this stage, Smith advised experiencing all worldly joys and then facing the inevitable disillusionment. He highlighted the need for detoxifying from external desires and confronting inner demons to find true peace and happiness.
