The pop icon took to the stage at the dazzling Resorts World Theatre as part of her sizzling residency in the heart of Sin City. While wowing the crowd, she slyly tipped her hat to her previous chart-toppers, 'Witness' (2017) and 'Smile' (2020). Those records had critics flipping coins with mixed or average reviews. Check Out Olivia Rodrigo's Latest Guitar-Driven Track 'Bad Idea Right?'
Olivia Rodrigo has shared a brand-new single called ‘Bad Idea Right?’ The track is a part of her upcoming album 'Guts,' set to drop on 8th September through Geffen Records. Crafted collaboratively by Rodrigo and her producer Daniel Nigro, this gritty guitar anthem delves into the singer's contemplation of reconnecting with an ex-lover. “Seeing you tonight/ It’s a bad idea, right?/ Seeing you tonight/ F**k it, it’s fine,” she sings over a punky instrumental. In the chorus, Rodrigo chants: “Yes, I know that he’s my ex/ But can’t two people reconnect?/ I only see him as a friend/ The biggest lie I ever said.” In the official video, skillfully directed by Olivia Rodrigo's frequent creative partner Petra Collins, we witness Rodrigo hitting up a rad house party alongside her actual squad. But hold up, she's out of there in a flash, on a mission to track down her past flame. Venturing on, she catches a wet and wild ride hitchhiking on a pickup truck, hops on some public transport with urban swag, and eventually lands at her ex-beau's spot.
