Taylor Swift Makes History as The First Artist to Have Entire Top 10 on Billboard Hot 100
Taylor Swift becomes the first artist to take the entire top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart in a single week, making this one of the most historic weeks in the chart's 64-year history. Drake, who had nine of the top ten songs on the Hot 100 for a week in September 2021, is surpassed by Swift. Swift's No. 1 single, ‘Anti-Hero’ set the bar high for her on the Hot 100. The top 10 songs on the Hot 100 are all from Taylor Swift's latest album ‘Midnights’, which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 albums chart with the biggest week for any release in seven years. With her monopoly of the top 10, for the most Hot 100 titles from the top in a single week, Swift also surpasses Drake and The Beatles, who both dominated the top five for one week in 2021 and 1964, respectively. Swift now has 40 top 10s, which is more than Madonna's 38, making her the female artist with the most top 10s in the history of the Hot 100. She comes in second only to Drake among all acts (59 top 10s). Additionally, ‘Midnights’ becomes the first album ever with as many as 10 Hot 100 top 10s, besting the nine from Drake’s Certified Lover Boy in 2021.

Lorde’s Sister Indy Yelich Releases a Brand-New Track ‘Killer’
Lorde's little sister, Indy Yelich has unveiled a brand-new track. After secretly slogging away at music for 4 years, the singer finally made her public debut last month with her debut track, ‘Threads’. In a statement regarding her brand-new song, 'Killer,' Yelich said: “‘Killer’ is about the different sides of myself; anxiety-ridden, self-sabotaging and the bold, cheeky side.” “I wrote ‘Killer’ when I was on my way to a session at Diplo’s house. I was having an anxiety attack, and was 30 minutes late already. In the car, I just remember looking in the car mirror in the uber and feeling inferior, red hot with frustration.” She added: “This song to me is about embracing being your own worst enemy, embracing the anxiety. This song is mischievous and me expressing my own frustrations.”
