Adele Announces 2022 Homecoming Concert Dates

Adele is all set to make her return to the stage next summer when she performs two open-air homecoming dates. The British singer has announced a pair of 30 concerts, set for July 1st and 2nd, 2022 at London’s Hyde Park.

It promises to be a hot ticket for an artist who is hotter than anyone in music right now. Adele’s comeback track “Easy on Me” blasted to No. 1 on the Official U.K. Chart on October 22nd, setting records along the way.

Adele also smashed the Spotify record for most global streams in a day, a record previously held by K-Pop boy band BTS and their hit ‘Butter’.

According to Billboard, “Easy on Me” is the first track lifted from Adele’s 30, her upcoming fourth album due on Nov. 19. It’s the follow-up to 2015’s 25, an album so popular, Adele was crowned IFPI Global Recording Artist of the Year for the year, an award which recognizes the top artist across physical sales, downloads and streaming.

Her global tour in support of that album was pure box office dynamite. When it wrapped, Adele stepped away from the public glare for five-long years, until “Easy on Me” dropped in full earlier this month.

The Hyde Park concerts are the first confirmed Adele dates, but they won’t be the last. The 15-time Grammy Award-winner is considering a Las Vegas residency in 2022, sources tell Billboard.

For a cover story published in Vogue, Adele hinted at big things to come. She’s reportedly been warning friends that she’s “getting ready to be famous again.”
