Billie Eilish Is All Set To Drop The Music Video For ‘No Time To Die’
On February 13th, Billie Eilish made her landing with the James Bond score, ‘No Time To Die’. Cut to seven months later and now, this track is getting treated to its very own music video.
The song, forged from Billie’s haunting melodies and a stunning orchestral arrangement, created quite the splash when it first made its descent. After all, Billie had some big shoes to fill. The main score for ‘Spectre’ was crafted by Sam Smith and preceding this, Adele moved souls across the globe with the powerful, ‘Skyfall’.
And yet, Billie took up the challenge and filled these shoes with an enviable ease. She worked alongside her brother and close collaborator, Finneas O’Connell, to structure the lyrics for this heartbreaking track. And soon enough, she became the youngest-ever artist to craft a James Bond score.
Now, Billie took to social media to break the news, by sharing a picture of herself. The black and white image featured the star standing before a mic, while her caption read, “FINALLYYYYYYY ‘no time to die’ music video out tomorrow at 9am pt @007 !!!!!!!!!” The song will make its landing later in the day, while the film itself will hit theatres on November 20th.
It’s worth noting that the score also did exceedingly well on the charts. It debuted at No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 making it the highest-charting Bond theme on the Hot 100 since Adele’s “Skyfall,” which debuted and peaked at No. 8 in October 2012.
In other news, Billie and Finneas are also working together to put out a brand new album, though the latter confirmed that it will only arrive once the global pandemic settles.
