The Thai rapper, Lisa unveiled a teaser trailer of her upcoming single project, Lalisa on the 27th of August, on her and BLACKPINK’S official social media accounts. This was just two days after dropping its stunning official teaser poster. The title of the album is inspired by her birth name, Lalisa Manoban.

The eponymous album’s trailer which clocks in at only
26 seconds, features ‘How you like that’ singer seated on a platform looking
poised and resplendent. Lisa bathed in red light along with the thunder and
lightning that breaks across the sky which serves as a background noise makes
her appear alluring and enticing. It places her as a force to be reckoned with.
BLINKs
are awaiting the highly anticipated album, ‘LALISA’ which is set to grace the
world with its presence on September 10 at 1 PM KST (9:30 AM IST).
Following
the reveal of the official poster for the single album, more details regarding
the project was posted on BLACKPINK’s
Instagram account about a physical album release.
Black and gold box set versions are currently available to pre-order,
and they include specialty items such as an 88-page photo book, a rare photo
card, and rare golden ticket limited to a small number of the box sets. A vinyl
LP of the single album is also available to pre-order.
The K-pop star’s record label, YG Entertainment announced that, to
accompany the release of ‘LALISA’ there will be an online signing event for
fans to have a one-minute, 30-second conversation with the singer. Purchase of
the black or gold box set is required.
Lisa will be the third member of the quartet to drop a solo release. Rapper Jennie released the aptly named "Solo" in November 2018 while vocalist Rosé gave fans her single EP titled R which featured "On the Ground" and "Gone," in March this year. Jisoo, on the other hand, is awaiting the release of her acting venture in a Korean drama, titled 'Snowdrop' which is scheduled to air later this year.
