Cardi B lands role in Fast & Furious 9

Cardi B just landed another blockbuster role in the Fast & Furious franchise. No other news about the role itself has been disclosed, but we saw this coming with her announcement that she was already acting in a new film, post ‘Hustlers’.

It’s the rapper’s first movie part since her role as the stripper ‘Diamond’ in the edgy girl-power film. Vin Diesel, the lead of the franchise, disclosed the casting on Tuesday in a post on his Instagram account with a video that showed him and Cardi B on the sets of the movie.

In the video we hear Cardi addressing Diesel’s followers “I’m tired, but I can’t wait, I ain’t gonna front, I think this is going to be the best one.” The Latin singer Ozuna was also announced as a cast member of the new Fast & furious franchise and will take participate in the film’s soundtrack as well.

The film is set to release next year in May and we are excited to see Cardi show off her acting skills and maybe even shock us with it.
