Doja Cat confirms collaboration with Ariana Grande

Pop revelation, Doja Cat, took the Twitterverse by storm late last night, when she confirmed news about a collaboration with fellow pop heavyweight, Ariana Grande. The news came amid fan speculation about a possible Doja x Ari x Nicki Minaj collaboration called ‘DNA’, which Doja Cat quickly debunked.

The star took to Twitter to address rumours about the possible collaboration, ‘DNA’. In her tweet, she wrote: “I just want you guys to know the DNA collab is completely a fan made rumor and there wasn’t any plan for it to happen but it sounds like a great idea and i’d love to do it.” Further, she added, “Just wanted to debunk it all for you guys cuz i see you all in the comment section buggin out about it.” 

Doja Cat Confirms the Big News

And, then, came the big news. Moments later, Doja tweeted, “HOWEVER the Ari and Doja collab exists entirely. <3” And, within no time, the comment section was flooded with excitement from fans. Many have already prophesized that the collaboration will surely break records in pop music, considering the pairs star power. 

Further, the confirmation follows Ariana Grande’s comments about the same. In an interview with Zane Lowe, Grande spoke about a possible project with Doja, saying, “We did this song together towards the end of last year and I love it so much.” Further, she added, “I was able to work with her earlier this year on this song that I want to save for whenever it’s time again, to drop.”

Doja Cat has been taking the pop music world by its horns, sweeping music charts worldwide. In addition, following the success of her hits, ‘Say So’ and ‘Like That’, the star has quickly become one of the most listened to female rappers today. She recently stunned audiences world over with her solo performance at the 2020 VMAs. And, with the news of her imminent collaboration with Grande, there seems to be no stopping the star’s global takeover.
