EXO’s Kai Gears Up To Make His Solo Debut This Month

Kai from the mega-hit group, EXO, is all revved and ready to make his solo debut! While his work with EXO has spanned a good 8 years, the star has been hinting at possible solo endeavours sometime in the future. And now, it looks like he’s finally turned those dreams to reality. 

Kai will make his landing in late November with a self-titled mini-album. The record will keep warm a good 6 tracks. The artist recently took to social media to share his first teaser for the upcoming album and it’s all sorts of captivating. 

The teaser image features Kai dressed in a black hoodie and trousers, while rope-like strings stretch out against the sea-blue backdrop behind him. Interestingly, his face is barely visible under all the cloth and yet, it adds a firm layer of intrigue over this project. 

Following in the footsteps of his EXO members, this album will possibly see him forge a new identity as a solo artist. His counterparts, Baekhyun, Chen, Suho and Lay have all chosen to dabble with different styles and genres of music. With their solo debuts, they were able to revel in the freedom of being able to express themselves and their views through an array of interesting concepts. 

What conversations Kai will strike up with his solo debut, is something we’ll learn only on November 30th.
