Kanye delays ‘Jesus is King’ release
Kanye West has decided to delay the release of his ‘Jesus Is King’ album, which was initially planned to drop this Friday.
It’s been a long road for West since the arrival his album, ‘Ye’ last summer. West even began recording his ‘Jesus Is King’ album, originally announced as the mythical ‘Yandhi,’ in August 2018. The album missed two initial release dates in September and November 2018 under its original title, before being delayed indefinitely.
In fact, Kim Kardashian was actually the one to break the news of Jesus Is King’s track list, along with the release date. Just yesterday, she continued to retweet countdowns and send out teasers pointing to the project’s release.
Apart from the album, for much of 2019, West’s Sunday Service has been his passion project, seeing the rapper put on an array of gospel performances with a choir across the country. The sessions have taken place in California, on his newly purchased estate in Wyoming, back home in Chicago, Ohio, and even at Coachella on Easter Sunday this year. West is also reportedly putting on a special edition of Sunday Service in Detroit this Friday.
