Kid Cudi Stars in A New Slice of Life HBO Series

Kid Cudi dropped two huge bombs on us and we’re still reeling from them. First to steal the spotlight, is Cudi’s team up with Rap God, Eminem, for a brand new track. Next up, is the new trailer for the HBO series, ‘We Are Who We Are,’ which just premiered. And yup, you guessed it. The young rapper’s starring in this one. 

We Are Who We Are’ is directed by Luca Guadagnino. His name should ring a bell considering that he entered the film scene in 2017 with the Oscar-worthy product, ‘Call Me By Your Name’. Now, if you’re wondering what his current piece is about, we’ve got you covered. The story tracks the lives of two American kids who live on a U.S. military base in Italy. The series explores friendship, first-love and identity. It further immerses the audience in all the chaos, anxieties and the exhilaration that comes with youth. And it all happens in this little slice of America in Italy. 

The eight-part series will make its landing in September, though no exact date is set, as of yet. 

Kid Cudi joins a string of stars from the likes of Chloë Sevigny, Jack Dylan Grazer, Alice Braga, Jordan Kristine Seamón, and many more. 

So, What Else Has Kid Cudi Starred in?

This isn’t Cudi’s first run with a blockbuster series. In fact, his history with film and television go way back. In 2010, he made a guest appearance on the show, ‘One Tree Hill’. Next on the block was ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’, where he cameod as a criminal named, ‘Dustin’. 

More recently, he even scored a part in ‘Bill & Ted Face the Music’, directed by Dean Parisot opposite the one, the only, Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter. You might want to add this one on your watchlist too, as it’s slated for release in August 2020.
