Post Malone Debuts Dramatic Makeover, Reveals Why

Post Malone debuts a new look

American singer-songwriter, Post Malone, surprised fans with a dramatic makeover, and we were not prepared.

For all of you who are used to his signature matted hair and tatted up look, fear not, he’s still the same Post Malone. The tattoos still cover his body, but the hair is all gone. Debuting a fresh new do – a close shave buzz cut – the singer took to Instagram to show off his new tattoo, a skull on his…skull.

Post Malone and his tattoos are a saga that have long been talked about. Leaving observers in awe, his body art has often been subject to the simple question – “Why?”.

Lucky for us, Malone is an honest enough person, and revealed in a recent interview with GQ: “I’m a ugly-ass motherf**ker. It does maybe come from a place of insecurity, to where I don’t like how I look, so I’m going to put something cool on there so I can look at myself and say, ‘You look cool, kid,’ and have a modicum of self-confidence, when it comes to my appearance.”

Sharing his new look with fans, Post Malone used the caption of the latest post to share a heartfelt message amid these trying times. The post reads, “Spread your heart as much as you can. A little love goes farther than you think. Stay strong, and keep kicking a**. Love, Austin”.

This isn’t the first time Post Malone (Austin Post) has hopped on to the gram to spread love and positivity. And while he continues to battle with mental health issues arising from the use of social media (detailed in his song “Internet“), he has used his platform to support the current BLM movement.

In a post dated May 31st, 2020, Post Malone wrote: “I see the frustrations over the blatant miss-use of my social media. I stand with George Floyd. I stand with everyone taking a stand. I stand on the side of love”.
