Things are Weird with Billie and her Brother

Billie Eilish’s brother is caught in an… unpleasant mess.

Billie Eilish’s brother Finneas O’Conell has found himself in the middle of some weird, uncomfortable theories and accusations by fans on the internet. The discourse has already spun a web of its own, and you know how the Internet is; now there’s no stopping anyone.

As we know, Billie Eilish is not the only one in her family with a music career. Her older brother Finneas O’Connell has been writing and singing songs with his sister since they were kids. After her career took off, he is known for being one of her most important co-creators. Her hit album “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go” is often touted a musical project by the brother-sister duo, by the singer herself.

In fact, O’Connell even penned the lyrics for one of her chart-topping hits, ‘Bad Guy.’ However, fans of the young singer weren’t too thrilled about it. And that is where the drama starts.

The hit pop track has some fairly raunchy lyrics, which read as rather inappropriate for the singer’s age. “So apparently Billie Eilish’s brother writing a song for his underage sister to sing about seducing peoples dads is totally fine and not weird at all,” one Twitter user wrote. The lyric she’s referencing: in the song, Eilish dubs herself a “might-seduce-your-dad-type.” Eilish only just turned 18, and has thus caused a stir amongst fans.

However, like all things on the internet, not everyone agrees with this take. Others thought the critics were taking the whole thing a bit too seriously while a few others agreed the lyrics to “bad guy” didn’t reflect the reality of Eilish’s intentions.

Well, the creepy bit doesn’t stop there. O’Connell’s girlfriend is a YouTube star named Claudia Sulewski and what’s bothering is the startling resemblance between O’Connell’s girlfriend, and his sister, Eilish. Many fans think Sulewski looks just like the 18-year-old “bad guy” singer and tbh, we don’t really know how to feel.
