Amanda Seyfried is singing the praises of her 'The Housemaid' costar Sydney Sweeney—both on and off the screen.

While attending the SCAD Savannah Film Festival on 27th October, the Oscar-nominated actress opened up about her growing friendship with Sydney Sweeney, sharing that the two have bonded over their love for filmmaking and often keep in touch. 

Seyfried described Sweeney as not only incredibly talented but also full of energy and warmth, adding that their shared enthusiasm for The Housemaid made the experience even more rewarding.

About 'The Housemaid'

The pair recently reunited to promote their upcoming psychological thriller, which adapts Freida McFadden's bestselling 2022 novel. Amanda Seyfried stars as Nina, a wealthy woman with secrets of her own, while Sweeney plays Millie, a live-in housemaid who becomes entangled in her employer's mysterious world. 

Directed by 'A Simple Favour' filmmaker Paul Feig, the movie also features Brandon Sklenar and Michele Morrone and is set to hit theatres on 19th December, 2025.

Meanwhile, Sydney Sweeney stars in 'Christy,' a boxing biopic about professional fighter Christy Martin.

Seyfried has spoken openly about how deeply her latest roles have challenged her emotionally, noting that embodying characters driven by loss and conviction has allowed her to explore new creative depths.
