Austin Butler recently admitted he has been missing out on one of the most iconic pre-wedding traditions: the bachelor party.

While chatting in a playful mood on 'SubwayTakes' with host Kareem Rahma, the 'Elvis' actor admitted he's never actually been asked to one of those parties—something he jokingly pointed out doesn’t seem all that fair. He explained that bachelor parties seem like an experience he would enjoy and that he considers himself a fun person, even if he has yet to prove it in that setting.

Rahma, amused by Butler's admission, remarked that the actor gives off the vibe of a '90s sitcom neighbour — the effortlessly cool type who might live out of a van. Austin Butler happily played along with the description, laughing that it suited him perfectly.

As the banter continued, Rahma jokingly accused the Oscar nominee of trying to win him over in hopes of securing best man duties at a future wedding. Butler leaned into the joke, saying that was exactly what he had in mind. At one point, the discussion even drifted toward the idea of throwing a joint bachelor bash overseas. Austin Butler chimed in with a lighthearted proposal: why not take the celebration to Ireland and turn it into a full-blown pub crawl through its legendary bars? He quickly backtracked, though, laughing that it might be "too romantic."

The segment ended with Butler asking Rahma if he would be his best man, only for the show to cut off with a cliffhanger message promising more to come.

Austin Butler is Being Busy With Projects

While fans are entertained by Butler's sense of humour, the actor has been keeping busy with his latest project. He is currently promoting ‘Caught Stealing’, a gritty thriller co-starring Zoë Kravitz. In the film, Austin Butler plays Hank Thompson, a former baseball player caught in a dangerous treasure hunt through New York City.

True to his method-acting reputation, Butler immersed himself in the role by living on the set designed as his character's East Village apartment. He admitted that he spent time there eating takeout, dancing, and even spending the night. One morning, he woke up in just his underwear as the crew arrived, a moment he described as particularly awkward but essential to getting into character.
