Beyoncé is closing out the year with yet another historic achievement. The 'Cowboy Carter' star has officially become the fifth musician ever to reach billionaire status, proving that her success extends far beyond the stage.
According to Forbes, December marked the moment Beyoncé crossed the billion-dollar mark. The milestone followed an enormous year that included her genre-shifting move into country music, major brand partnerships with Levi's, a high-profile Christmas NFL halftime performance known as the Beyoncé Bowl, and the highest-grossing concert tour of 2025. Together, these ventures helped grow her net worth significantly from the estimated $800 million reported just two years ago.
With this achievement, Beyoncé joins an elite group of music billionaires that includes her husband Jay-Z, along with Taylor Swift, Bruce Springsteen, and Rihanna.

Beyoncé's Lucrative Ventures
The past year has been especially lucrative for the superstar. Forbes estimates that the Cowboy Carter tour alone brought in more than $400 million in ticket sales and another $50 million in merchandise. On top of that, her Levi's partnership reportedly earned her around $10 million.
While her growing business empire has added to her wealth, including her haircare brand Cécred and her SirDavis Whisky line, Forbes notes that the majority of Beyoncé's fortune still comes from her music. Few ventures in entertainment are as profitable as a global superstar who can consistently sell out stadiums.
Beyoncé's Tours
Beyoncé's touring power remains unmatched. Her 2023 Renaissance world tour generated more than $579 million, making it one of the highest-grossing tours in history. That success continued with the 'Cowboy Carter' tour, which featured nearly three-hour performances packed with elaborate visuals, surprise guests, and unforgettable moments, including appearances from her children, her Destiny's Child bandmates, and Jay-Z.

Because Beyoncé owns the rights to her music and produces her tours through her company Parkwood, she benefits from higher profit margins than most artists. This control over her work has played a major role in building her wealth.
When tour revenue is combined with income from her music catalogue and sponsorship deals, Forbes estimates Beyoncé earned $148 million in 2025 before taxes, ranking her as the third-highest-paid musician in the world this year.
The success is especially meaningful given that 'Cowboy Carter' was inspired by an experience where Beyoncé felt unwelcome in the country music space. The album went on to dominate award season and finally earned her the long-awaited Album of the Year win at the 2025 Grammy Awards.
Despite the nonstop speculation about her next move and the still-unannounced Act III of her album trilogy, Beyoncé has made it clear that she is in no rush. She has consistently emphasised that protecting her peace and prioritising her family matter more to her than money, no matter how high the numbers climb.
