Brad Pitt is stepping back into one of his most iconic roles, the one that won him an Oscar, in a new follow-up to the 2019 fan favourite 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.' The Hollywood star is once again bringing Cliff Booth to life, giving fans a fresh reason to revisit the stylish, sun-soaked world of classic-era Los Angeles.
Netflix unveiled a surprise first teaser for 'The Adventures of Cliff Booth' during Super Bowl LX on 8th February. While the teaser aired during the game, it has not yet been released online.

The film sees Brad Pitt, now 62, step back into the role of Cliff Booth, the laid-back stuntman who worked as Rick Dalton's longtime double in Quentin Tarantino's original film. Leonardo DiCaprio played Dalton in 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.'

The new movie is directed by David Fincher, known for films such as 'The Social Network' and 'Gone Girl.' The screenplay was written by Tarantino and is believed to be a spinoff expanding the world of 'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.'
This project 'The Adventures of Cliff Booth' marks Brad Pitt's first collaboration with Fincher since 'The Curious Case of Benjamin Button' in 2008. The duo previously worked together on 'Se7en' and 'Fight Club,' two of Pitt's most iconic films.
News of Pitt and Fincher teaming up on the project first surfaced in April 2025. Filming began later that summer, with Pitt spotted on set wearing a long blond wig, a matching moustache, a yellow floral shirt, and jeans.

'Once Upon a Time in Hollywood' followed Booth and Dalton as they navigated a rapidly changing film industry in 1969 Los Angeles. The movie famously reimagined history by altering the tragic fate of Sharon Tate. Pitt's scene-stealing performance earned him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor, adding another golden stature to his career. The film itself was also a big winner on Oscar night, picking up the award for Best Production Design.
'The Adventures of Cliff Booth' is set after the events of the original movie and follows Booth as he works as a Hollywood studio fixer. The cast of 'The Adventures of Cliff Booth' also includes Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Elizabeth Debicki, JB Tadena, Carla Gugino, Scott Caan, and Corey Fogelmanis.
