Cillian Murphy on Playing in 'Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man'

Cillian Murphy has spoken warmly about stepping back into the role, saying Tommy Shelby still had unfinished business. He shared that working again with Knight and Harper has been deeply rewarding and described the film as something made especially for longtime fans.

In a recent interview, Murphy explained that a strong script and a sense of responsibility to the audience convinced him to return. He sees the movie as a fitting final chapter that completes the full run of the series. To reconnect with the character, he listened to Fontaines D.C.'s album 'Romance' and reflected on the fact that he has played Tommy Shelby for nearly a quarter of his life.
