Disney is officially moving ahead with a live-action adaptation of its 2010 animated hit 'Tangled.' The project, which had been paused earlier this year, is now back in development, with 'The Greatest Showman' director Michael Gracey attached to helm the remake, according to Deadline.
While casting has not yet been finalised, Scarlett Johansson is reportedly in discussions to play the iconic villain Mother Gothel, the character who originally kidnapped Rapunzel and was voiced by Donna Murphy in the animated version.
