Kim Kardashian has shared a tearful new video that details the stressful last few weeks she spent studying for her bar exam and the devastating moment she learned she didn't pass. After months of relentless studies, canceled plans, late-night review sessions, and apparent tiredness, the reality star–turned–law student broke down in tears as she disclosed the truth with her followers.

The clip captures Kim's frustration, fear, and determination as she reflects on her years-long dream of becoming a lawyer, her inspirations rooted in prison reform work, and the crushing setback that temporarily shattered her hopes. But despite the tears, she insists that she isn't giving up.

A Brutally Honest Look at the Final Stretch

Kim Kardashian recently opened up like never before, sharing a deeply emotional video on Instagram that captures the intensity and strain of her bar exam journey. Her final two weeks of studying for the California bar exam are shown in the video, during which she cancels her job, puts her family on hold, and has studied more diligently than ever. She candidly admits in the video posted that she's been studying for four straight months, taking video calls with professors, reviewing legal cases, and juggling back pain.

In one tearful moment, Kim confesses, "Every time I feel like I’m a step ahead, something happens to try to stop me…a part of me just wants to stop. I feel like my brain's gonna explode." Then came the blow. On 7th November, she got to know her results and revealed that she did not clear the exam. She clarified in her statement that although the news was disheartening, her struggle was far from over.

She wrote,"This dream means too much to me to walk away from," emphasizing that she'll keep studying, keep learning, and keep showing up for herself until she finally gets there.

Years of Determination and the Pain of Falling Short

Kim's commitment to becoming a lawyer isn't new—she's been on this path for now about six years. She first passed California's "baby bar" in 2021 after failing it for three times. Earlier this year, she successfully cleared the Multistate Professional Responsibility Exam, a necessary ethics test. Despite all of that, the full bar proved to be a huge challenge. Although Kim acknowledged that ChatGPT occasionally provided incorrect answers and "made me fail tests all the time," she still claimed to have used it to aid in her studies.

She additionally takes into account the emotional, physical, and mental toll the voyage has had in her video. Her sister Khloé and other family members and friends came together to support and encourage her. But Kim also expressed frustration: she criticized psychics she had consulted who assured her she would pass, calling them "pathological liars" after her failure.

Not Giving Up: What's Next for Kim?

Even in her disappointment, Kim's message is clear: she’s not quitting. She wrote that "failing short isn't failure—it's fuel," framing this setback as motivation to come back stronger. She has frequently connected her role as a divorce lawyer in the Hulu drama 'All's Fair' to her real-life legal goals, and this news coincided with the premiere of the show.

Kim is still steadfast in her resolve to pursue a career in law, even implying earlier that she may one day abandon her reality TV character to pursue a career as a trial lawyer full-time. She's shown her determination before and is ready to do it again—no shortcuts, more studying, and a lot of heart.
