"I've been trying to go the route Paul Newman did—"Okay, well, I'm not kissing a girl anymore," Clooney said, referencing the legendary actor's own transition away from romantic roles later in life.

Though he can still play basketballs with younger buddies, he joked that time will eventually catch up with him as he considered aging and the realities of the future.
