The MonsterVerse continues to build momentum as production on the film 'Godzilla x Kong: Supernova' hits a major milestone. While the film won’t hit theatres until 26th March, 2027, updates are starting to surface, delighting fans eager for the next epic Titan showdown. Filming began in April on Australia’s Gold Coast, where early set leaks teased intense action scenes, including a dramatic disaster sequence set in London.

Now, three months into filming, the Australian portion has officially wrapped. The production is transitioning to the United States for what appears to be its final phase before post-production begins. This update was shared by costume designer Ann Foley, who marked the occasion with a lighthearted social media post hinting at the demanding nature of the shoot and revealing that the team’s next destination is Utah.

More Updates on 'Godzilla x Kong: Supernova'

'Godzilla x Kong: Supernova' serves as a direct sequel to 2024’s 'Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire'. The upcoming film is directed by Grant Sputore and written by David Callaham and Michael Lloyd Green. While plot details remain tightly under wraps, early speculation hints at a cataclysmic threat that forces both Titans and humans to unite once more. The title "Supernova" suggests a potentially cosmic-scale danger that could redefine the MonsterVerse’s stakes.

Returning to the action is Dan Stevens, reprising his role as Trapper, the Titan veterinarian introduced in the previous film. He’ll be joined by an impressive cast that includes Kaitlyn Dever ('The Last of Us' Season 2), Jack O'Connell ('Sinners'), Delroy Lindo ('Malcolm X'), Matthew Modine ('Stranger Things'), Alycia Debnam-Carey ('Fear the Walking Dead'), and 'Jurassic Park' legend Sam Neill. The mix of franchise veterans and fresh faces sets the stage for a dynamic new chapter.
