Jennifer Garner recently shared a memorable and slightly gruesome story from her time working with a stunt performer during one of her past films.
While promoting the second season of her thriller series 'The Last Thing He Told Me,' the 'Alias' star revealed that she had reunited on set with Sala Baker, a New Zealand–born actor and stunt performer. The two previously worked together nearly two decades ago on the 2007 action thriller 'The Kingdom.'
Jennifer Garner's Bloody Experience
Jennifer Garner explained that their earlier fight scene was filmed with very little choreography and a lot of intensity. The director encouraged both performers to go all in, telling them to fight as realistically as possible. With adrenaline running high, things quickly escalated.

During the scene, Garner ended up jumping onto Baker's back and, in the heat of the moment, bit his ear. She recalled that the bite was so real it left him missing a small piece, and there is even a photo to prove it. The moment shocked everyone on set and drew laughs and disbelief years later when she retold the story.
Her current co-star, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, was stunned when she shared the anecdote and asked her to repeat it, clearly amazed by what he was hearing. Jennifer Garner compared the moment to the infamous Mike Tyson ear-biting incident, making it clear just how intense the scene became.

Jennifer Garner's Recent Reunion
According to Garner, that same level of commitment carried over to their recent reunion. On the first days of filming, the crew grew concerned and urged Baker to be careful with her. Garner brushed it off, joking that neither of them planned to hold back and that she still had unfinished business from their last fight scene. Baker ended up working with the cast throughout the season.
During the press event, Jennifer Garner also spoke about what draws viewers to 'The Last Thing He Told Me.' She described the appeal of watching capable, intelligent adults take charge in high-stakes situations. Her character, Hannah Hall, steps up after her husband mysteriously disappears and forms a deep bond with her stepdaughter, played by Angourie Rice. Garner said Hannah is prepared, steady, and resourceful, qualities audiences are craving more than ever.
The second season of 'The Last Thing He Told Me' premieres on Apple TV on 20th February.
