Kim Kardashian recently opened up about how using artificial intelligence backfired during her law studies. The 45-year-old reality star and entrepreneur revealed in a Vanity Fair lie detector interview that she turned to ChatGPT for help while preparing for her law exam—but instead of improving her performance, it led to repeated failures.
Kim Kardashian and ChatGPT Test
During the interview, All's Fair costar Teyana Taylor asked Kim whether she used AI for personal advice or saw it as a friend. Kim clarified that she mainly relied on ChatGPT for legal guidance while studying. She explained that she would often upload photos of legal questions for the chatbot to solve, but the responses frequently turned out to be wrong, resulting in her failing multiple tests.

Kim Kardashian described the experience as both frustrating and oddly humorous, admitting that she often ends up arguing with the AI tool after it provides incorrect answers. She jokingly referred to ChatGPT as a "frenemy," noting that it sometimes responds with motivational messages encouraging her to trust her own instincts—a reaction she finds both ironic and entertaining.
'The Keeping Up with the Kardashians' star shared that she frequently sends screenshots of her AI interactions to friends, amused by how the chatbot seems to take on a "therapist" role after giving her inaccurate information. Despite her frustrations, she acknowledged that the experience had taught her a lesson about relying too heavily on technology when studying complex subjects like law.

Kim's honesty about her unconventional study methods was confirmed as truthful by the lie detector test. The California bar exam, which she is preparing for, includes essay questions, performance tests, and multiple-choice sections that demand deep legal understanding—something AI tools are not yet reliable enough to master.
Kim Kardashian's Other Ventures
Outside of her studies, Kim is preparing for the premiere of 'All's Fair', a new Hulu series centred on an all-female law firm. She stars alongside Naomi Watts, Glenn Close, and Niecy Nash-Betts in the legal dramedy, which debuts on 4th November, 2025.

With her mix of humour and determination, Kim continues to balance her growing acting career, entrepreneurial ventures, and ongoing pursuit of becoming a lawyer—though she may now think twice before letting ChatGPT handle her next law exam.
