Linkin Park delivered a powerful performance at the UEFA Champions League final on 31st May, kicking off the event with a high-energy show at Munich’s Allianz Arena. The band performed in front of more than 64,000 attendees, playing a mix of iconic hits like ‘In The End’ and ‘Numb’ alongside newer tracks such as ‘The Emptiness Machine’ and ‘Heavy Is The Crown’ from their 2024 album ‘From Zero’.
Their set took place just before Paris Saint-Germain’s dominant 5-0 win over Inter Milan—marking the largest margin of victory ever recorded in a Champions League or European Cup final.

The annual kick-off performance has become a regular highlight of the final. Last year, it featured Lenny Kravitz ahead of the Borussia Dortmund vs. Real Madrid clash at Wembley Stadium, while Anitta took the stage for the 2023 edition.
Linkin Park’s Return: New Music and Tour Plans
In recent months, Linkin Park released two new singles, ‘Up From The Bottom’ and ‘Unshatter’, both from ‘From Zero’. The album marks Linkin Park’s first release since the passing of Chester Bennington and features Emily Armstrong of Dead Sara as their new lead vocalist.
Linkin Park are set to embark on the European and UK leg of their world tour later this year, with a headline show at Wembley Stadium scheduled for 28th June. A deluxe version of ‘From Zero’ was released on 16th May.
