A 2017 Gap commercial starring Cher and Future has resurfaced and become a viral hit on TikTok. The ad, which originally showed the two artists seated on a white staircase singing a stylized version of Sly and the Family Stone’s 1969 hit ‘Everyday People’—produced by Zaytoven—has gained renewed attention due to its awkward and seemingly mismatched vibe. TikTok users have since been parodying and lip-syncing the ad, turning it into a new meme trend.
Last year, Cher indicated that her next album could be her last. While promoting ‘Cher: The Memoir, Part One’ in November, she expressed excitement about the project, describing the new material as “great.” Her latest release was 2023’s ‘Christmas’, marking her 27th solo album and her first in ten years to feature original songs, including the single ‘DJ Play A Christmas Song’.

Cher on Relationship and New Albums
Cher is currently in a relationship with 38-year-old artist and producer Alexander “A.E.” Edwards. She explained that she enjoys spending time with younger people because many of her peers no longer prioritize fun. In early 2023, she revealed she was working on two albums in the UK with Edwards, noting that he had contributed songs and that his talents as a producer and writer made her excited about the collaboration.
Future recently appeared on ‘Fxck Up The World’, a track from BLACKPINK’s Lisa’s debut solo album ‘Alter Ego’, which dropped in February. In 2023, he also collaborated with Metro Boomin on two joint albums: ‘We Don’t Trust You’ and ‘We Still Don’t Trust You’.
