Diane Kruger takes on one of her most emotionally charged roles in the newly released trailer for 'Little Disasters,' a six-part limited series coming soon to Paramount+.
What Does 'Little Disasters' Teaser Show
Unveiled on 27th October, the tense psychological thriller film follows a tight-knit group of expectant mothers whose friendship begins to unravel after one of them is forced to make a heartbreaking decision. The event triggers a ripple effect that threatens to destroy their relationships, families, and trust in one another.
Kruger, 49, stars as Jess Carrisford, a seemingly perfect stay-at-home mother whose world shatters when her close friend Liz, played by Jo Joyner, contacts social services about an incident Jess cannot explain. In the teaser, Jess struggles to understand how someone she's trusted for years could make such a devastating choice.
According to Paramount+, Liz—an emergency room nurse—faces a moral dilemma when Jess rushes her baby girl to the hospital with a mysterious head injury. The incident forces Liz to make a professional call that jeopardises her entire friendship circle, which also includes Charlotte (Shelley Conn) and Mel (Emily Taaffe).
The teaser hints at the contrast between Jess's picture-perfect family life and the darker realities hidden behind closed doors. As tensions mount, the friends are forced to confront the unsettling question of how well they truly know one another.
