What to Expect from 'Sunday Best'?
After almost five years, Nick is making a comeback to his solo career with 'Sunday Best.' 'Spaceman,' his prior solo album, was released in March 2021. The upcoming album promises a fresh but personal sound—centered around acoustic guitar, piano, choirs and a string quartet—mixed with candid, self-reflective lyrics. It's supposed to capture snippets of his life: love, quiet walks home, personal growth, and the various changes he's experienced lately.
In terms of collaborators, Nick has worked with talented artists such as JP Saxe, and others including Josette Maskin (from MUNA), Blush, and Ryan Daly for this new album 'Sunday Best.'
At the brunch event fans also experienced live renditions of songs including 'I Need You'—initially released during the previous Jonas Brothers tour—as well as a gospel‑styled performance of his prior hit 'Jealous.'

"I'm so excited to share these new stories, candid thoughts, quiet walks home in the city, and snapshots of my life over these past few years," said Nick in a press release statement. "And while this album was made over the course of the last two years, it was truly 33 years in the making."
Balancing Band Life and Solo Dreams
While 'Sunday Best' is a solo attempt, it follows on the heels of a busy year for the Jonas Brothers. The band’s 2025 album Greetings 'From Your Hometown' and the ongoing 'JONAS20: Greetings From Your Hometown Tour' have kept the trio in the spotlight for a while now. Nick's choice to release a solo album now points to a new creative phase that is motivated by mature musical perspectives, adult experiences, and personal narratives.

For fans, 'Sunday Best' could feel like a more intimate, thoughtful side of Nick—combining the high-energy band songs with calmer, deeper compositions inspired by his life as husband and parent. As pre-orders begin and anticipation rises, the album stands as a promise of fresh music steeped in sincerity. February 2026 is shaping up to be an exciting re‑entry to solo artistry for Nick Jonas.
