Reunion of Din Djarin & Grogu Alongside New Faces
The return of Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, the Mandalorian bounty hunter renowned for his armour, code, and his improbable maternal attachment with Grogu, has been officially confirmed. In both endearing and daring moments, the trailer reintroduces Grogu, the Force‑sensitive child of Yoda's species.
New to the cast are Sigourney Weaver, who plays Colonel Ward, a veteran Rebellion‑era pilot now aligned with the New Republic; Jeremy Allen White, cast as Rotta the Hutt (Jabba's son, carrying on the Hutt lineage); and Jonny Coyne, in the role of an Imperial warlord who seems to represent the lingering threats still unsettled in the galaxy.

Release Date & What the Trailer Promises
'The Mandalorian & Grogu' is slated for theatrical release on 22nd May, 2026. The trailer was released on 22nd September, giving fans now a solid eight‑month lead time to build anticipation.
According to the trailer, the storyline begins in a galaxy where there are power voids as a result of the fall of the Empire.
