Tom Holland Attends Family Charity Night with Zendaya After 'Spider‑Man' Set Accident

Just one day after suffering an injury on set, Tom Holland stepped out with Zendaya to host a family‑charity event in London, showing fans he's on the mend. The incident happened as 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' was being filmed, and though he was admitted to the hospital with a minor concussion, his appearance at the Brothers Trust event the next night provided a comforting look at his recuperation. Not only was it important to show there, but it was also about giving back and spending quality time with family. 

Accident on Set: What Happened & Where Filming Stands

Tom Holland was filming 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' at Leavesden Studios in Watford, England, on Friday, 19th September, when a stunt went wrong and he fell, causing injury to his head. He was rushed to the hospital right away by paramedics, who determined that he had suffered a moderate concussion. The incident did not injure anyone else.

Following the mishap, production on the high-budget Marvel movie is now halted to allow Holland to recuperate; according to sources and his father's announcement for the same, he will be off set "for a while" as a precaution.

The movie is still scheduled for its release on 31st July, 2026. Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, and Michael Mando are among the other cast members who are returning; Sadie Sink, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Tramell Tillman are newcomers.

The Charity Night: Love, Support & Giving Back

A day following the injury, on 20th September, Holland made his first public appearance since the incident. He and Zendaya went to Christie's auction house in Mayfair, London, for The Brothers Trust's charity event, the 'Posh Pub Quiz.'

Tom and his three brothers—Sam, Harry, and Paddy—run a charity called the 'Brothers Trust.' The event was organized in favour of Java Joy, a nonprofit organization that specializes in providing meaningful work for persons with disabilities, and featured quiz rounds and prizes, such as a round of golf with Tom Holland himself. 

Zendaya, dressed in a gorgeous black dress, complemented the evening's sophisticated tone, while Holland, dressed in a fine suit, hosted the event and served as quizmaster.

Though the event was joyful, Holland apparently left earlier than anticipated since he felt ill later that evening. His appearance clearly brought relief to his family and fans, who saw it as evidence that he was making a full recovery.
