Reports Claim Zayn Malik May Rejoin One Direction After 10 Years

New filings have sparked major excitement among One Direction fans, as documents suggest Zayn Malik has returned to an active role inside the band’s company, PPM Music Limited. The update comes just weeks before the 'Pillowtalk' singer begins his first-ever Las Vegas residency in January.

What Documents Said About Zayn Malik's Return?

According to newly listed Companies House paperwork filed on 3rd November, Zayn Malik—whose previous directorship officially ended in June 2016—is once again registered as an active director. His name now appears alongside Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan, all of whom share the same central London business address for the company.

The address belongs to Lee and Thompson LLP, a prominent law firm known for its work in music and media. The firm is also understood to have overseen Liam Payne's solo career.

Despite the renewed activity within the company, industry insiders do not believe new One Direction music or tour plans are imminent. A music source told The Sun that the development represents a significant moment for the group. The source explained that Liam Payne's recent passing has brought the remaining members closer, and added that the late singer had long been the strongest supporter of a reunion.

The source also noted that PPM Music Limited was the company the band originally created during their rise on The X Factor, named after Princess Park Manor, the gated complex where they lived at the start of their career. Communication among the group members has reportedly increased since Liam's death.

Recent reports have also indicated that Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik have been working together on a television project filmed across the United States. Additionally, business manager Alan McEvoy—who previously worked with One Direction, Olly Murs and JLS—is listed in the latest filings.
