Rosé recently shared her thoughts on BLACKPINK’s highly anticipated return, as the group prepares to launch their global ‘DEADLINE’ tour this July—marking their first full comeback in over a year.
Speaking in a new cover story for Dazed, Rosé reflected on the group reuniting, saying that each member had spent time apart gaining new inspiration and personal growth, and they’re now reconnecting with “positive energy.” While she didn’t reveal further details about what’s ahead, she explained that, as only one member of the group, it wasn’t her place to speak on behalf of all four.
The tour kicks off in South Korea and will move through major cities in the United States, Europe, and the UK, including two major shows at London’s Wembley Stadium in August. Additional dates across Asia have also been announced, covering countries such as Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

This marks BLACKPINK’s first major tour since their ‘Born Pink World Tour’, which spanned 2022 and 2023 and set a record as the most successful girl group tour in history, with over 1.8 million attendees.
BLACKPINK Members Shine Solo Ahead of Record-Breaking Tour
During the group’s break from collective activities, each member pursued individual projects. Rosé collaborated with Bruno Mars on the track ‘APT.’, which rapidly crossed the one billion stream mark on Spotify—becoming the fastest K-pop track to reach that number. She also released her solo album rosie in December, along with a video for her track ‘toxic till the end’.
Jennie and Lisa also dropped full-length solo records, while Jisoo debuted with her first solo EP, Amortage. Lisa’s album Alter Ego received mixed reviews, with critics calling it bold and experimental, though still evolving in terms of personal identity. Rosé’s rosie was noted for its introspective lyrics, offering fans a closer look at her emotional world.
