Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are officially engaged, marking one of the most exciting celebrity love stories of recent years. The pop superstar and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, both 35, shared the happy news with fans on Instagram, posting a series of dreamy photos from their floral-filled garden proposal.

The pictures showed Kelce down on one knee, Swift showing off her dazzling “Old Mine brilliant cut” diamond ring designed by Kindred Lubeck of Artifex Fine Jewellery, and the couple embracing beneath a pink-and-white floral trellis. In a playful caption, Swift hinted that their relationship felt like a blend of everyday roles, while fans celebrated the fairytale-like announcement.

A Relationship Built on Adventure and Shared Moments

Just weeks earlier, Kelce had reflected on their adventures during the offseason in an Instagram post. The photos included matching outfits, playful snapshots of Taylor Swift trying on his glasses, and coordinated baseball caps labelled "captain" and "first mate." Fans also noticed a subtle Easter egg when Kelce’s phone screen revealed that the pair had each other as lock screens.

The couple also enjoyed a snowy Montana getaway, laughing together in matching fluffy hats, and were spotted spending time with mutual friends, including Erin Andrews and her husband Jarret Stoll.

From a Bracelet Gesture to a Lasting Love Story

Their love story first sparked in July 2023 when Kelce attended Swift's Eras Tour show at Arrowhead Stadium. He later admitted on his podcast that he had planned to give her a friendship bracelet with his number on it, but didn't get the chance. A few months later, Taylor Swift fueled dating rumours when she attended one of his games, sitting in his family suite and cheering him on.

By the time she attended that first game, the couple were already together privately. Swift later shared that they had spent time getting to know each other away from the spotlight before making their relationship public.

Since then, the couple's bond has grown stronger. Taylor Swift supported Kelce at Chiefs games, including their 2024 Super Bowl victory, while Kelce travelled internationally to cheer her on during the Eras Tour. At her London concert in June, he even surprised fans by joining her dancers onstage, later joking about their connection to her song So High School.
