Anne Hathaway, Meryl Streep, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci are coming back together for the highly anticipated sequel, 'The Devil Wears Prada 2.'
On 1st February, 20th Century Studios released a brand-new trailer for the highly anticipated sequel to the 2006 fashion favourite. The short first look gives fans a glimpse of where the beloved characters are now, nearly 20 years after the original film.
'The Devil Wears Prada 2' Trailer
In the 30-second preview, sharp wit and tension return as Andy Sachs and Emily Charlton cross paths again. Emily quickly points out how much Andy has changed, noting her newfound confidence while still teasing her about keeping the same eyebrows.
The studio hinted at the trailer's release earlier in the day with a brief social media post, building excitement ahead of the reveal.
The original film, based on Lauren Weisberger's novel, followed ambitious young journalist Andy as she landed a demanding job as assistant to Miranda Priestly, the powerful editor-in-chief of a major fashion magazine.
According to reports, the sequel centres on Miranda as she navigates a changing media world and the decline of traditional magazine publishing. She also finds herself in conflict with Emily, who is now a top executive at a luxury brand controlling advertising money Miranda desperately needs.
