Adam Sandler Praises Travis Kelce
In previous interviews, Adam Sandler had nothing but praise for Kelce. He described the Kansas City Chiefs tight end as kind, humorous, and someone who reminded him of his childhood friends. Being on set with Kelce brought back memories of high school friendships filled with laughter and comfort.
Appearing on 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon', Sandler emphasised Kelce’s natural talent, calling him an incredible actor with a grounded presence. As for Bad Bunny, Sandler highlighted the global superstar’s charisma and the overwhelming public reaction he draws wherever he goes. He recalled his wife Jackie’s quiet but high-pitched excitement when seeing Bad Bunny in person—an amusing moment that stood out for him.

Back in January, Kelce himself shared how meaningful the experience was for him. He told ESPN's 'The Pat McAfee Show' that collaborating with Adam Sandler and Happy Productions was a dream come true, adding that while he once thought Saturday Night Live would be the peak of his entertainment career, being part of 'Happy Gilmore 2' topped it.
In the film, Adam Sandler returns as the iconic Happy Gilmore, whose life takes a downturn before he attempts a comeback in the golf world. Kelce plays a hotel staff member, while Bad Bunny takes on the role of Oscar. Familiar faces from the original movie, including Ben Stiller, Christopher McDonald, and Julie Bowen, also reprise their roles.

During a recent 'Good Morning America' appearance, Sandler hinted at the plot, explaining that Gilmore starts off in a rough patch but reconnects with family and the sport he once loved.
