Rhea Seehorn steps away from her iconic 'Better Call Saul' character to take on a fresh challenge in Vince Gilligan’s forthcoming Apple TV+ sci-fi series 'Pluribus,' which is scheduled to premiere on 7th November. The series follows Carol Sturka, a bestselling historical romance author who becomes the world's sole immune person during a mysterious phenomenon that forces humanity into relentless optimism.
In the series, Carol navigates a surreal, Twilight Zone-esque New Mexico while trying to understand the sudden global wave of happiness, all while grappling with confusion, rage, and the unintended complications her immunity causes. Seehorn brings the character to life with a blend of wit and tenderness, stepping into the role of an unexpected hero on a quirky mission to "rescue the world from happiness."

What 'Pluribus' Brings to The Screens?
'Pluribus' fuses Gilligan's trademark dark wit with a captivating science-fiction twist. The idea for the series originated nearly a decade ago while Gilligan was working on 'Better Call Saul,' inspired by imagining a world in which everyone was impossibly kind and agreeable. The show explores the dramatic and comedic tension of one miserable person navigating a relentlessly cheerful society.
Gilligan tailored the central character of 'Pluribus' with Seehorn in mind, lauding her remarkable ability to weave together sharp comedic timing and profound emotional nuance.

Alongside Seehorn, the nine-episode first season features Karolina Wydra and Carlos Manuel Vesga, among others. 'Pluribus' is set to deliver unexpected twists, intricate turns, and subtle nods that fans of Gilligan's 'Breaking Bad' and 'Better Call Saul' worlds will likely catch and appreciate.
'Pluribus' launches on Apple TV+ with a two-episode premiere, followed by weekly episodes every Friday through 26th December, 2025.
