On October 8th the girl group TWICE announced their third full album called Formula of Love: O+T=<3, which will be arriving on November 12th. The girl group shared new imagery to accompany the album reveal. The cover art sees the group's nine total members --Sana, Tzuyu, Momo, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Mina, Dahyun and Chaeyoung -- each dressed in unique uniforms and hanging out in what appears to be a stylish chemistry lab where colorful chemicals in test tubes decorate tabletops.

On October 8th, Lauren Jauregui makes a comeback with a brand-new release 'Colours', which is a part of her upcoming solo project titled 'PRELUDE'. The song which is written by Jauregui and produced by Johnny Rain, is a contemplative emotionally charged song revealing the singer’s internal reality check.

On October 5th announced that she would be releasing new music for the first time in almost six years. The artist released a 10-second teaser of her upcoming single Easy On Me. And though she didn't unwrap any of the vocals for the gentle piano ballad due out Oct. 15, she did preview what appeared to be the video for the track in a 17-second clip.

The Weeknd has declared that his fifth studio album “is complete.” On October 4th, during his episode on the radio show Memento Mori, the Canadian singer shared some major life updates while he apologized for temporarily pausing his weekly show.

Selena Gomez is to sing in Coldplay’s Let Somebody Go, which is to feature in the band’s ninth album Music of Spheres that’s set to come out on the 15th of October. On October 4th Gomez took to twitter to announce that she and the English rock band have collaborated for their latest song.

Artists Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett pay homage to Cole Porter in their latest tribute album called Love for Sale which released on October 1st.

The combined star power of Coldplay and BTS is at the center of their highly anticipated "My Universe" music video, which premiered on September 30th. Dave Meyers, who also directed Coldplay's "Higher Power" music video, helmed the new visual, which follows the global superstar groups exploring the distant galaxy of The Spheres where music is outlawed.

Grimes has dropped a new song titled 'Love' which she has shared as being “in response to all the privacy invasion, bad press, online hate and harassment by paparazzi I’ve experienced this week”.

K-Pop band BTS has finally confirmed that they will be collaborating with the British band Coldplay for some upcoming music. The single titled 'My Universe' is due for a release on September 24.
