Halle Bailey’s Son Halo Adorably Recognizes Her as Ariel in ‘The Little Mermaid’

Halo, Halle Bailey’s 14-month-old son, may be her staunchest advocate.
The actress, 24, posted a touching video of her youngster watching her in the 2023 live-action version of ‘The Little Mermaid’.
The movie is playing in the background as Halo sits on a bed and plays with a toy stethoscope in the video, which she shared on her Instagram Stories and X. He looks to the TV and yells for his mother as the music gets louder, which makes Bailey chuckle.
Now that he is focused on the screen, Bailey moves the camera to reveal what he is seeing and inquires as to if it is his mother. Halo is still concentrating on the movie, but as the action progresses, he finally smiles broadly.

When he calls out to his mother once more, she kindly confirms that it is, in fact, her on television. Bailey was moved by the beautiful moment and wrote in the video’s caption that she was happy her son recognized her as Ariel.
In Disney’s 2023 rendition of the cherished 1989 animation classic, Bailey played the part of Ariel. She was chosen to play the lead in the July 2019 blockbuster, which made $95.5 million on its first weekend in North America and $569.6 million globally.
Bailey and her ex-boyfriend DDG have a kid named Halo, who was born a few months later. She shared a picture of his small hand and talked about how happy he had made her life when she made the announcement of his arrival in January 2024.
