On 8th September G-Eazy announced his fourth studio album, titled These Things Happen Too, and it is expected to release on September 24th via BPG/RVG/RCA Records.

The rapper also dropped an album teaser video on 8th September and appropriately titled it “The Announcement.” In the video, G-Eazy is seen walking through rooms while heading into a recording studio as a portion of his new music plays in the background.

“I know it’s been a long, long time,” he says over instrumentals. “But, crazy people do crazy things. It’s finally ready, I’ll see y’all on Sept. 24, let’s go.”

G-Eazy’s all-new album These Things Happen Too come as a sequel to his 2014 album with a similar name, These Things Happen. The original LP peaked at No.3 on the Billboard 200, where it charted for 138 weeks.

‘These Things Happen Too’ will “showcase G’s multi-faceted artistry with a diverse, yet eclectic body of work,” a press release said of the album. “‘These Things Happen Too’ highlights G’s growth since his debut LP, while also paying homage to its now classic and fan-favourite tracks.”

News of the album arrived with a new track, ‘The Announcement’, a hard-hitting anthem that details G-Eazy’s evolved rockstar status. “This ain’t’ 2012 Gerry, this a different G,” he raps. “You gotta talk to my agent now, that’s different fee/ You gotta jump through ten hoops before you talk to me/ Penthousе at the Soho Grand, see the city differеntly.

In G-Eazy’s upcoming project, coming out later this month and featuring fellow artist Demi Lovato, G-Eazy reflects on the changes he’s experienced in both his personal life and career since the 2016 releases of his first-ever top 10 Hot 100 hit single “Me, Myself & I” featuring Bebe Rexha.

The artist is all set to perform at various festivals and events this fall—including BottleRock, Summerfest, Common Ground and Breakaway Festival among others. This has his fans in high spirits since they can see him perform live.
