Miley Cyrus is all set to break records with her new single ‘Flowers’. The song has topped the weekly Billboard poll. Fans voted enthusiastically and chose Cyrus’ track about self love and acceptance as their favourite new music release of the past week. ‘Flowers’ brought in about 60% of the votes alone, leaving Sam Smith, Bizarrap and Shakira behind. “I can buy myself flowers, write my name in the sand/ Talk to myself for hours, yeah, some things you don’t understand/ But I can take myself dancing, yeah/ I can hold my own hand/ Yeah, I can love me better than you can,” she sings in the song. The mid-tempo pop track is all set to be blasted on the dance floor. The song gives the fans an insight into her upcoming album ‘Endless Summer Vacation’.

Calvin Harris, who is a producer and DJ, recently tweeted a photo of Ellie Goulding and himself in the studio. He captioned the picture saying, “back in the studio with Ellie Goulding!!” This was followed by a simple emoji of a CD. Previously Harris and Goulding have collaborated for the songs, ‘I Need Your Love’ and ‘Outside’, which were released in 2012 and 2014 respectively. The tweet comes as a shock to people after Goulding just recently delayed the release of her upcoming album ‘Higher Than Heaven’. She stated that the delay happened because of “exciting” new developments. Fans are eager to know if the picture has anything to do with these new developments. The album is the follow up to her 2020 album ‘Brightest Blue’, and was initially supposed to come out on 3rd February. However, Ellie Goulding made an announcement on Twitter stating, “To my incredible fans – I’m sorry to announce that we’re delaying the release of Higher Than Heaven to March 24.”
