The song 'Unholy,' which Sam Smith and Kim Petras released last month, has been remixed by Disclosure. The producer team extends the song's original runtime by a minute in the remix, distorting its Arabian scale over a powerful house beat. Smith's vocals are muted by Disclosure throughout the chorus' choir-led section before Petras' impromptu lines are added at the song's last minute. The remix was released days after the 10th anniversary of ‘Latch’, a fellow Smith and Disclosure collaboration that was first released in 2012. Since then, the duo has collaborated on three more songs: ‘Together’ in 2013, ‘Writing's On The Wall’ and ‘Omen,’ both of which were included on Disclosure's album ‘Caracal’ in 2013.

Green Day Released a Recently Discovered ‘Nimrod’ Demo, Announced 25th Anniversary Edition
Green Day shared a teaser earlier this week by announcing an extensive deluxe edition of their fifth album, ‘Nimrod,’ entitled ‘Nimrod XXV,’ as well as a recording session demo that has not been made available before. The release comes exactly 25 years after the band released ‘Nimrod’, the follow-up to 1995’s ‘Insomniac’, for which Green Day also issued a quarter-centennial edition. ‘Hitchin’ A Ride’, ‘Good Riddance (Time Of Your Life)’, ‘Redundant’ and ‘Nice Guys Finished Last’ are some of the tracks from it. The original album had 18 songs, making it their longest album to date. However, a Japanese edition included an additional song named ‘Desensitized,’ while an Australian version also included the demos ‘Suffocate,’ ‘Do Da Da’ and ‘You Lied’. The new edition of ‘Nimrod’ doesn't have any of the last three songs, but it does include ‘Desensitized’ and seven other songs that weren't included on the album's initial release. 'You Irritate Me' and 'Tre Polka' are two of those songs that have never been shared with the general audience before.

Queen Has Released a Newly Unearthed Song ‘Face It Alone’ Featuring Freddie Mercury
Over the summer, Roger Taylor and Brian May disclosed that they had discovered a song by the band that had been kept under the wraps and performed by their late frontman, Freddie Mercury. “And it’s wonderful,” Taylor told Zoe Ball during an interview on BBC Radio 2. “Actually, it was a real discovery. It’s from the ‘Miracle’ [1989] sessions.” May described the tune as “beautiful” and “touching”, adding: “It was kind of hiding in plain sight.” A unique 7′′ vinyl edition of ‘Face It Alone,’ which is scheduled to release on 18th November, is also available for pre-order. The song will also be included in a limited collector’s edition box set of Queen's 13th studio record, 'The Miracle'. According to a press statement, the eight-disc set includes six unheard tracks and an hour-plus disc of previously unreleased recordings.
