Silk Sonic Will Not be Submitting Their Record For The Grammys

Silk Sonic will not be submitting their debut album for consideration at next year's Grammys, according to Bruno Mars. In 2021, Anderson .Paak and Mars released 'An Evening With Silk Sonic,' which included the singles 'Leave The Door Open,' 'Skate' and 'Smokin' Out The Window.' While Silk Sonic won four Grammys at the 2022 ceremony, with 'Leave The Door Open' winning in the Record of the Year, Song of the Year, Best R&B Performance and Best R&B Song categories, Mars has now confirmed that the duo will not be submitting 'An Evening With Silk Sonic' for consideration at the 2023 Grammys.

Spice Girls have shared an updated version of their 1997 music video for ‘Spice Up Your Life’ that includes never-before-seen video clip. The release of the video comes with the celebrations surrounding the upcoming relaunch of 'Spiceworld', the second album by the girl band, which will mark its 25th anniversary next month. The Spice Girls' crew, UMR and Chris Fox from 'Bring It All Back' all worked together to produce the new clip, which was totally made from previously unreleased material from the original video shoot for 'Spice Up Your Life'.

Louis Tomlinson is getting ready to release his second album. The former One Direction member stated that a new song named ‘Out of My System’ would be released this week. Tomlinson announced the news on Twitter and Instagram, releasing a snippet of the track's instrumentation, which features the singer trying for a little gritty and rock-inspired sound. The clip was featured in a grainy video with overexposed and burnt spots for a vintage atmosphere, with a drum set and microphone taking centre stage. The former One-Direction member, announced the arrival of his new album, ‘Faith in the Future’ back in August on Instagram.

Harry Styles' 'Harry's House' Vinyl Album Sold The Most Copies in 2022

The most popular vinyl LP of the year thus far has been officially determined to be Harry Styles' most recent album, ‘Harry's House’. The third solo album by the former member of ‘One Direction’ was released in May and includes the record-breaking Number One hit ‘As It Was’. Styles has converted 60,000 copies of ‘Harry’s House’ to vinyl since its release, more than any other LP this year, according to the Official Charts Company. In addition, Styles' self-titled debut from 2017 came in at Number 37, while his second album, ‘Fine Line,’ debuted at Number 27 on the list of the biggest full-length vinyl of 2022. Fontaines D.C.‘s ‘Skinty Fia’ came in at Number 5, followed by Muse‘s ‘Will Of The People’ at Number 4, Wet Leg‘s self-titled debut at Number 3 and Liam Gallagher‘s ‘C’mon You Know’ at Number Two.

Swedish House Mafia Has Been Announced as The First Opening Act For Creamfields North 2023

Swedish House Mafia has confirmed that they will play at Creamfields again in 2023. They made the announcement during the Birmingham stop of their ‘Paradise Again’ world tour. The supergroup will be displaying their three-dot logo alongside ‘Creamfields 2023’ on screens in the arena. Following the announcement, Creamfields tweeted an official confirmation: “Just Announced! @swedishousemfia confirmed for a SOLD OUT Creamfields North 2023, Sunday 27th August. #CreamfieldsNorth #Creamfields2023.” Although the whole line-up for Creamfields North 2023 has not yet been revealed, the festival is still expected to take place in Daresbury, Cheshire, in August next year. It is the fastest-selling Creamfields ever, with all available tickets having already been sold out. Following their final appearance at the festival in 2019, the Swedish House Mafia will perform at Creamfields once more.
