Artist of the Week: Madonna
Madonna and her presence in music have always been synonymous with the kind of power that comes with the word ‘royalty’. She isn’t called the ‘Queen of Pop’ for nothing.
In her many years in the industry, she has been a trailblazer and a go-getter. Madonna has never cared for what people have to say about her. And, with that fearless attitude, she has etched her name in the walls of pop supremacy forever.
As she turns 62 today (unbelievable, we know), we’re celebrating the queen in all her glory. Her unabashed, uninhibited approach to life and music has given us some of the most unforgettable moments in music. And, while those will keep us grooving for years to come, Madonna also has some wise, wise words under her belt. Here are a few gems; her words of wisdom, shall we say. So, here’s to a superstar like no other.

1. “I’m ambitious. But if I weren’t as talented as I am ambitious, I would be a gross monstrosity.”
