2. The band name stands for Neo Culture Technology reflecting an ambitious concept of localizing K-pop globally with region-specific groups. 127 refers to the longitude of Seoul as the group is from Seoul.
3. There are 18 artist under NCT: NCT 127, NCT Dream – a more fun and rotational unit for teenage K-pop performers and the NCT U – a group where the songs are assigned to singers based on what fits them best!
4. A new unit came up in June 2018 called the NCT China to feature the group’s Chinese members. They intend to expand their reach to more Asian countries, Vietnam and Latin America.
5. Their fans are affectionately called NCTzens read as N- citizens.
6. There are 10 members in the group NCT 127 whose newest member Jungwoo debuted officially in “Regular-Irregular”.
7. Although the group is based in Seoul, it is a culturally diverse group with Johnny from USA, Yuta from Japan, Winwin from China, Mark from Canada, Taeil and the rest from South Korea.
